Padang – Bukittinggi

The city of Padang which is famous for the legend of Siti Nurbaya and Malin Kundang is currently working towards the development of tourism. The city has a museum located in the city center called the Adityawarman Museum, which has an architectural style in the form of a Minangkabau traditional house (Gadang House), Gajah Maharam model. On the front page of the museum are two rice barns. This museum specializes in the history and culture of the Minangkabau, Mentawai and Nias tribes.
